What to do and what not to do when you hire a skip bin

The skip bin you hire have arrived at your site. Consider some dos and don’ts to save time when packing it and to avoid extra cost or problems on pick up.

DOS

  • Place the skip bin inside your property as close as possible to where you want to transfer the rubbish from. This will save you time and effort as the walking distance is shorter and also may help avoiding council’s fine
  • Keep flat packed items on the bottom of the bin will save you space
  • Place the bin on top of some wood slats if you want to position the bin on your driveway to avoid any damage done to the concrete
  • Give us a call as soon as you finish filling up the bin so we can arrange the pick up as sometimes this may not happen straight away
  • Take extra care when filling up to avoid any injuries.

DON’TS

  • Put asbestos in the bin to avoid having the rubbish being returned to you and to avoid being hit with a huge fine
  • Move the bin to another position from the original position our driver dropped off. We had instances when we came and pick up the bin there was no access for our truck.
  • Overfill the bin. Anything above the rim will be removed or incur extra charge.
  • Damage, breaks or alters the bin in anyway as it is under Aline Movers property. Damages will have to be reimbursed.

I hired a 4 cubic bin for  a very good price. The office lady was friendly and your driver was excellent.
